GFYD 1-23-12

2 Chronicles 7:11 And Asa cried out to the LORD his God, and said, “LORD, it is nothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power;

This was what King Asa said when his 580,000 man army came up against a million man army from Ethiopia. Asa recognized that the numbers didn't make any difference with God. It could have been a million verses one, and God would not have had to try any harder to deliver His people. Not only are numbers insignificant, our strength or lack of it neither helps or hinders God's ability to win. Maybe you are focusing on the size of your circumstance, or maybe you are discouraged by your own weakness or failure. Whatever the case may be, you need to understand that it is nothing for God to help....He won't even break a sweat! God has numerous ways to come to your rescue, and He will overwhelm the very thing that's been overwhelming you. Amen.

  1. I have to agree, God will come to our rescue. And no matter how bad the situation or how out numbered we may seem to be, God always wins.Now if I can get my mind to agree during the trial!
