Then

2 Chronicles 7:14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. Then. This verse is about responding to the correction of The Lord. We often use this verse as an inspiring word about revival. It can be used as such, but don't miss the greater truth. In verse thirteen, God said that He "might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you (2 Chronicles 7:13). And then comes the "then". How do you respond to God's correction? What do you do when God seemingly allows your rebellion to take you down a dark road of consequences? Even under grace, our Heavenly Father still corrects and disciplines everyone that He loves (Revelation 3:19). When we respond with humbleness and prayer, then the end result of our Father's discipline should be repentance, renewal, and restoration. God is ready to heal you......get on to the "then"!
