Eternal God

2 Kings 20:11 So Isaiah the prophet asked the LORD to do this, and he caused the shadow to move ten steps backward on the sundial of Ahaz! Time. It never stops, and you can't go back. That's what made this miracle of God so amazing. To show Hezekiah that he would be healed, God made the sun back up! This must have encouraged Hezekiah greatly to know that he served the God who held eternity in His hands. Time is one thing that the devil uses against all of us. He tells us that we have wasted years, and there is no getting them back. That it's too late to change because too much time has passed. What he doesn't want us to realize is that our God is not held by time. He is eternal. He is the God who was, who is, and who is to come (Revelation 4:8). Although it's true, we can't go back and undo what we have done, we can trust in Him and be forgiven. And God can actually use the mistakes of our past to bring glory unto Himself! It doesn't matter how much time you have wasted, how many minutes, hours or even years that you have spent in rebellion. You can start all over again today, and know that you will have an eternity of time worshipping our Eternal God.
