Time to Care
1 Samuel 11:6
And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.
When the Ammonites came up against Israel, Saul's new anointing made a big difference in how he felt and reacted. There was a holy boldness that stirred him to do something about it. His anointing as king wouldn't let him be apathetic about what the enemy was trying to do. The new covenant has proclaimed that all believers are priests and kings, but do we walk in this anointing? When the enemy is trying to destroy marriages and families all around us, does it matter to us? Are we oblivious to it? Do we look the other way until it directly affects us. Instead of apathy, we should have urgency and passion, yes even anger. He has anointed us to advance His kingdom, but we can't do it if we don't care. It's time to care. More than ever before, it's time to care.

I agree we need to show others that we care. We don't have to fix them but we can help at least. Sometimes I don't say anything because I think that I don't really know what to say. But Gods Spirit nows exactly what to say. Even if it's only 'I love you and I am prayng for you'. And sometimes we can try to help people and they don't want help right then. Maybe they don't want to grow up. Maybe they are just not ready to surrender for whatever reason. Still the Spirit of God knows what to say and do! Surrender is key!
