Not Forsaken

1 Samuel 12:22 For the Lord will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his people. We are trophies of grace. God is patient and long suffering, because He has placed His name upon us. He is pleased that we are His. Now that doesn't mean that He is always pleased with what we are doing, because that would be naive of us, but He is pleased to call us sons and daughters. When we stand before Him after all is said and done, it will be for His glory, not ours. Our salvation doesn't bring praise and honor to ourselves, it brings praise and glory to Him who redeemed us and made us His own. When you feel like you are worthy of being forsaken, yet God does not forsake you, just remember, there is something special about you........His name! We are not forsaken!
