Faith Doesn't Forget
Joshua 14:12
12 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
It had been forty five years since Joshua and Caleb spied out the land. These two men of faith were ready to posses, but the rest of the spies doubted and convinced Israel that it was too difficult. Because of Caleb's faith, God spoke through Moses and promised him Hebron for an inheritance, but that promise was four and a half decades in the making! Would Caleb forget and lose heart? Would Caleb be too old to receive it? Absolutely not! At eighty five years old, Caleb was as strong as he was at forty. He had not lost his faith or his fight! When Joshua started assigning the land to the different tribes of Israel, Caleb said "give my this mountain!". He was even prepared to drive out any inhabitants as the Lord had promised him. Let our prayer today be that we have the faith of Caleb. A faith that doesn't forget, and a faith that isn't afraid to fight. Give us this mountain!

No doubt! As a male I love a good fight. God designed me to battle and win! I am meaner than a mean green fighting machine!LOL! When it comes to being a soldier of the Lord, I am more terrifing than the devil! I can do more damage than the darkness ever thought of! Their is no obsticale too hard for the Lord! He is the Victorious Warrior and He lives in me! Who dare come against Him and still be standing in the end! I love it!

I am reminded that we must not lose sight of God's Word and promises to us. The reason is, God doesn't see or is not controlled by time as we are and as we would like for Him to be. God is all powerful and all knowing and we must not lose sight of faith just because what was spoken hasn't came to fruition yet. God is not a man that he should lie!! Thank you Jesus for your PERFECT timing and FAITHFULNESS.
