Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

With the very first verse, the Bible tells us what we've been trying to find out for thousands of years........"where did we come from?". If we believe Genesis 1:1, then we must believe all of God's Word because it is His-story. If God created everything that we see, including us, shouldn't we listen to what He has to say? I would say so! And if He made us, can He not heal, deliver and restore us? And what about Jesus, God's Son? How can someone say that He was just a prophet, or a good man? Jesus claimed to be the Son of God. He claimed to be laying down His life for the sins of the world. Logic would have to conclude that He was either God, or a liar.......the "just a good man" theory doesn't fly. I believe and am convinced that Jesus was and is the Son of the living God.......do you? If so, shouldn't that truth impact our lives more than it presently does? I think so. Shouldn't it not only cause us to live holy devoted to Him, but also move us to share this incredible news with others? Absolutely. Maybe we should all go back to Genesis 1:1 today. Let's go back and declare "in the beginning God"! Amen

  1. O yes in the beginning was our God our creator
nothing was ,that was not his ...all was good.
then I came along.. he God saw me , I was lost
and without hope...and then David said ps57:3
He shall send from heaven, and save me from myself and the reproach of him that would swallow me up...think of that ...God shall send
forth his mercy and his truth ...we the believer have three persistent enemies in this world..the devil, the wicked, and my own wicked
nature the enemies day is dawning fast..the sin
nature is being removed even now from Gods people...Praise God For His Ultimate...Victory

  2. I like knowing that God is my creator. That He knows how I work, what makes me tick, how I will react to any given situation. It's very comforting to feel loved and not judged like the lost feels. I have heard from others and felt like God didn't love me and was judging me. But, when I went to treatment and gave up completely God showed me the truth. He does love us and yes judgement is coming, but Jesus payed our sin debt and gave us forgiveness, freely!
