Grace For Your Day 9-28-11

Proverbs 4:20-21
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

What is the most important part of your day? Is it your job? What about your hobby? Maybe it's your family......I mean, that has to be the right answer. Actually, if you said yes to any of these, you are missing out on what should be the most important part of your day. Your time with God in HIs Word should be that one thing that you do every day no matter what. It should come first on your list of priorities........yes, even ahead of your family. I don' know about you, but sometimes it seems like there isn't still 24 hours in every day, and sometimes when I finally lay my head on the pillow at night, I feel like there was so much more that I should have gotten done, but I didn't. That's the way life is. It never seems to follow our daily planner the way that we wrote it down. There are always mishaps or surprises in the midst of each day. And let's be honest, there have been times when we keep putting off our time with God because of "important" and so called "necessary things", and then before you know it, the day is spent. I encourage you today to put God back into your day planner.........on the top, highlighted as most important, and watch what He can do through you on your job, and in your family. Give Him the chance, I dare you! Amen.
