Checks that Don't Bounce

1 Kings 8:24 You have kept your promise to your servant David, my father. You made that promise with your own mouth, and with your own hands you have fulfilled it today. Have you ever known someone who was all talk, but no action? Have you ever been given that label? We have probably all been guilty at one time or another of over promising and under performing. This is not so with our God! Solomon attested to the fact that what God speaks with His mouth, He will also perform with His hands. God never writes a check that bounces. He never falls short in any way with His Word. Has God spoken it? Then you can bank on the fact that His hand is at work today bringing it to fulfillment. There are so many promises in the Bible that you can claim, and with those promises comes the hand of God working and moving in your life. We need to realize that the Word not only moves us.....it also moves Him.

  1. I love the bible. It's so perfect and always good. It's my love, my joy and peace, my rock and fortress! It's a tall glass o cold water on a hot summer day! It's life and His name is Jesus the Word of God. Eat and drink for free and live!
