No Match

What a mismatch! A nine foot tall giant........against the Almighty God of Israel. Goliath didn't stand a chance. It was this understanding that made facing the enemy a no brainer for David. No one else saw it that way, but everybody else was wrong. David's weapon wasn't really a sling shot, it was the name of the Lord. The name of the Lord is undefeatable, no matter the opposition or the means. If we are to trust in anything, let us trust in His mighty name (Psalm 20:7). The stronghold of depression, no match. Years of addiction, no match. Whatever the shape or size of the enemy, whatever the characteristics or name. If we are fighting under the banner of Jehovah....... No match!
