My
2 Samuel 22:2-3
He sang: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence.
My rock, and my fortress. He is where I find protection. I can hide in Him. Though sometimes we are tempted to hide from Him, we have come to know that we have a shelter in His loving embrace. He is my place of safety, and my refuge from the storms of life. He is my shield, when the enemy throws those fiery darts, or just throws discouraging words or condemnation. His grace becomes my shield to block the assaults that are intended to destroy. My faith in Him is only strengthened. He is my savior. He is the power that saves me. When I couldn't make it to the rock, to the refuge, to the fortress on my own.....His love reached down and brought me in. The greatest thing about all of these attributes of God is that two letter word in front of them. MY.

So true. The pain may stay but God never leaves. It's when you can say, "things are bad right but somehow I am just o.k. with it!" .The ability to laugh in the middle of a chaotic moment. The peace that goes past the point where my understanding ends. What a gift God's grace can be if we humble ourselves to receive it.
