Drink it All In
Judges 15:19 But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.
With the jawbone of a donkey, and the power of God, Samson killed a thousand Philistines. This incredible feat of strength would not be humanly possible, but with God all things are possible! I can imagine that after the fight was over, Samson must have been tired at a whole new level. In his exhaustion, God caused water to come out of the jawbone that was used as a weapon before. With every fight that we face, we have a few things that we can be sure of. First, God will be with us. Secondly, we will win. Lastly we know that there will be a time of refreshing. How sweet the water must have tasted after an intense battle against so many, and that will also be the case for you when you realize victory in your current struggle and God brings refreshing from the presence of the Holy Spirit and His Word. Just make sure that you take the time to drink it all in.

So true! Taking the time to drink it all in is surely our shortcoming. Without the refreshing we get a little bit more dehydrated. Eventually that can add up to an empty vessel! Then we can't seem to understand why we are so complacent and weak. But, when we take advantage of every single drop, we are full of life in it's abundant form! Open wide and drink deeply from the wells of eternal life! Fear and doubt are both washed away with every gulp! Weakness and insecurity are dry voids that are now flooded, pouring strength and courage! Let's come thirst, like a dear panting for water from a stream after being pursued by a hunter!
