"The Blood is Enough" 4-17-12

Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

All throughout the plagues of Egypt, God was distinguishing the people of God from the Egyptians, but with the last plague, there would be no doubt about it. But with the last plague, God would begin to teach His people about the significance of the blood. God commanded His people to place the blood of a lamb upon their door post before the death angel came through Egypt. The angel of death would kill the first born of every one, except for the first born that were inside of the homes marked with blood. Nothing else kept death away. Nothing but the blood of the lamb. The angel did not ask questions, or look inside to inspect, all the angel needed to see was the blood! It would be hundreds of years later when another lamb without blemish would die in order to save. This Lamb, the Bible says was slain from the foundation of the world for whosoever that would believe. And now, when God looks at me, He sees the blood, and the blood has become a covering of righteousness for me. You see, when this life comes to an end one day, and I stand before the God of all creation, the one thing that will distinguish me from those that will perish........the one thing that will make the difference, will be the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus, for the blood that cleanses me from all of my sins! It reaches to the highest mountain, and flows t the lowest valley, and it will never lose its power! Are you covered?

  1. Thank you Jesus for your blood that was spilled for my sins. Knowing the blood of Jesus is applied to my life is the only reason I can have hope in this life. Like the song says, " It ( the Blood) gives me strength from day to day..... It soothes my doubts and calms my fears and it dries all my tears and it will NEVER lose its power. Amen and thank you Jesus!!!
