Matthew 28:18-19
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go...

Can't you see Jesus saying "okay Peter, James and John, everyone listen up.....huddle together.....here's the play: All power and authority have been given to me, and I'm giving it to you! You don't have to fear the enemy, as a matter of fact, with the power that I'm giving you, you can tread on him......run right over him! The strongholds of the enemy will not be able to withstand the force that I'm empowering you with. Are you ready? Go!" Now maybe I let my imagination run away a little bit, but it's how I read today's scripture. It was the Coach sending out His team with a guaranteed victory! It would be the easy way out for us to say that this scripture was only meant for the disciples, but I believe it applies to all believers. I believe that God is saying "go" just as passionately as He did back then. Let's get out of our defensive mode and become an offensive force the way that Jesus commanded. We've been huddling long enough, it time to start running! Amen

  2. Yes Pastor, I totally agree. As in the super bowl- take the territory, follow the leader . God has given us a shepherd with a vision- Encourage each other to take back something back that has been lost in each and every one of our lives. In Jesus mighty name. We shall do more is what Christ said. Can we all commit to take some territory- spiritually and physically- wherever you walk this week speak Gods word over the land -take dominium in Jesus name. Let God reign speak it. Then let Gods rain pour out more and more. Feel his presence daily not just in church. As Pastor says take the battle to the enemy and let God be supreme. Not if my prayer works this time, but as I praise Jesus for what he has done with my prayers in victory. Gods covenant with us is Jesus- no other name is as powerful to set things free. ken

  3. That is cool pastor. I like the huddle up imagery. I am not where I want to be with my faith to go, but I am growing daily. I have been praying more which is what the Lord said would give me more courage and willingness. I'm tried of not being a witness to the rest of the world. I want to do the will of God in my life. God I pray for my heart to be like your heart, my desires to be like yours! I really do want to help and see you save another life. I'm not good with words or know the bible by heart, but you do, and you live in me! Whatever you need to do for this to take place, do it!in Jesus' name
