GFYD 12-27-11
Mark 8:29 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered and said to Him, “You are the Christ.”
What a powerful question! Who is Jesus? The way that you see Jesus determines what you receive from Him. Do you see Him as Healer, as your Provision, as your Savior? The Bible tells us that the city of Nazareth didn’t see Jesus do many miracles. The reason for that is simple. They saw Jesus grow up as the son of a carpenter, and they never saw Jesus as anything more than that. The world today says that Jesus was a good and moral man, and that if people would obey His teachings the world would be a better place. Well Jesus didn’t come to teach us how to be better………..He came to redeem us, and for those of us who see Him as our Redeemer, His forgiveness sets us free. Now back to the question…..who do you say Jesus is?

I say that Jesus is my Lord, He controls my destiny. I say that Jesus is my Savior, He has taken my punishment for my sins and given me forgivness instead. I say that Jesus is my Friend, He comes to my side and talks to me when I need Him. I say that Jesus is my Comforter, He calms my emotional storms. I say that Jesus is my everything, He is the great I am that is what I need in every situation! I want to see You Jesus like never before!Love Matthew
