Ephesians 1:7 "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."

Today I want to focus on two words in this verse: "we have". Have you ever taken time to consider what you have now that you have trusted in Jesus as your Lord and Savior? I believe that this is something that we should do every day. "We have" is a positive and encouraging phrase. It doesn't say "we can get", or "we can achieve", or "we possibly have". It is an emphatic "we have"! And what is it that we have? We have redemption, in other words, we have been purchased out of the bondage of sin. We have forgiveness of sins.........yesterday, today and tomorrow. Oh, and by the way, it's not according to your personal ability, it's according to the riches of His grace! Don't ever forget what you have in Him, because no one and nothing can ever take away what "we have"! Amen.
