Grace For Your Day 10-5-11

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, tthat the power of Christ may rest upon me.

There have been many times that I prayed for a certain thing going on in my life, wondering which way God would choose to handle it. I know, that doesn't sound like a great man of faith, but I'm just being honest. Will God deliver me from this circumstance, or will He give me grace to take the long road through it? I believe that to trust God for what is best is not a lack of faith, but actually reveals a solid trust and confidence that God knows what He is doing at all times. Now I must say that I sometimes fall short of the faith that Paul illustrates in this verse to the point that he can "boast in his infirmities", but I can say that it has been the weakest seasons of my life that God has become more "visible" in His work in me. The greater the trial, the greater His power is revealed......and the greatest place that we can ever come to in our life down here is that moment when we feel as if we are as low as we can possibly go..........and then discover the truth.........HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT! Amen
