Losing Ground

2 Kings 10:32 At about that time the LORD began to cut down the size of Israel’s territory. King Hazael conquered several sections of the country. Because of idolatry, Israel didn't enjoy peace, or even victory in battle. Instead, their nation began to shrink because of their enemies taking possession of what used to be theirs. Disobedience always opens the door for the enemy to steal from us. When our heart is divided, instead of enlarging our territory in The Lord, we draw back and lose ground that we once possessed. The good news is that it doesn't have to be this way! If you have turned from The Lord, or you have idols in your life that take the place of Him, you can turn back to Him! He will accept you and embrace you. He will heal you and restore you. He will forgive you and strengthen you. He will fight for you, and by the way, He never loses! Now is not the time to lose ground, now is the time to gain it! “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes." (Isaiah 54:2 NKJV)
