Moses knew God's voice. He had many conversations with the Lord during his life. I like how he calls the voice of God the "voice of One". There are many voices that speak in our lives, some are positive and some are negative. There are voices of bitterness and jealousy, and there are voices of encouragement and praise. God has given us the freewill to choose which voice or voices that we allow to direct us and influence us. Words have the ability to shape us, and that can include words that we speak, as well as words that we hear spoken. The Bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue (Prov. 18:21). What if instead of all of the possible voices that we could listen to, we chose to only listen to One? What if every word that we heard was filtered through the word of One? I believe that we would soon realize that we allow a lot of trash into our ears, and that trash clouds the voice of One that could bring transformation into our life. We have the choice to make, so let us choose to hear the voice of ONE.

The Voice of One
Numbers 7:89 Now when Moses went into the
tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to
him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from
between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him.
Moses knew God's voice. He had many conversations with the Lord during his life. I like how he calls the voice of God the "voice of One". Oh yes but to actually hear the one voice of God, WE feel the leading of the spirit and hopefully manage to tell which is God and which is not, But Gods voice does not come that often to us to hear, what a blessing if we do hear it loudly though
ReplyDeleteMay my ears only be tuned into the voice of God and His Word...... May everything else be distorted sounds in which sounds foreign and unknown.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you pastor, may God's will be done.
